About this Event
Joyful Voice is a community choir which has been rehearsing and singing in the West End since the early 2000's. Each December, Joyful Voice performs a holiday concert full of new and familiar tunes for people of all ages to enjoy.
We welcome you to join us for an evening of choral music to celebrate the holiday season. We have something for everyone: Songs evoking the beauty and peace of the winter season such as "In the Stillness of Winter" and "Glow", a playful medley of Christmas classics, a throwback to the Renaissance with "Two Winter Madrigals", and the toe-tapping "Nothing Rhymes with Christmas", to name just a few. Join us for some sing-alongs, too!
Donations are gratefully appreciated to support our concerts. A portion (25%) will go to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. You may make your donation online or bring cash or cheque to the concert. Suggested donation is $10 per ticket.
