Winter is the perfect time to prune and shape deciduous trees, shrubs, and vines. Join Head Gardener Matt Jevnikar as he demonstrates winter pruning techniques here at Heronswood, with hands-on opportunities for attendees. Matt will be joined by a mystery guest who will bring their own vision of pruning aesthetics in the dormant season. Participants are encouraged to bring their own pruners and hand saws.All in-person classes are limited to 25 attendees. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Classes may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
