It's our favourite time of year - tree planting! We have planted thousands of trees in Island Bay's loveliest little nature reserve since 2013, but there's more work to do. We have around 500 plants that need help to settle into the forest in the next couple of months.
Come to one planting bee, or come to all - we love helping hands.
If planting it not your thing, come for some weeding, or just to give encouragement to the planters and the cup of tea afterward.
Bring:
🥾 Decent shoes, there is often planting on the slope
🖐️ Gardening gloves
