Once again Apple Hill Scout Reserve is proud to be hosting one of our Council's highly regarded training courses, Winter Outdoor Skills, January 3-5, 2025. This is adult Scouter training to give you the skills and knowledge to ensure safe outdoor adventures in any condition in winter. Youth scouters who are helping in younger sections are welcome to attend with their scouters. Course outline information in a one page brochure is attached here, as well as a training application form. Winter can be great fun for adventures, making shelters, cooking outdoors, and of course bragging rights from sleeping out overnight. You will learn great tips, tricks, hacks, and tactics for keeping everyone safe on outdoor adventures. You will have access to one of the best resource scouters in Voyageur.
