The Winter Night Festival returns to Downtown Attleboro on February 21st from 4:30–7:30 PM!
About this Event

The City of Attleboro and the Winter Night Festival Planning Committee are excited to announce that the 15th Annual Winter Night Festival will be held on February 21st from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Many thanks to our long-time lead sponsor, Bristol County Savings Bank’s (BCSB), for their generous support of this popular event. Combining family fun, art, food, entertainment, and lots of winter magic, this event is sure to shake those winter blues!

Most festival activities are free, including all rides, face painting, and caricatures! Families do not need to spend a dime to come out on Feb. 21st for a fun Saturday evening. Parking for the festival can be found on downtown side roads and in the Sanford Street parking garage. While organizers love pets, for the safety of all, please leave animal friends at home.

A rain date of Feb. 22nd 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM, will be used if weather is not cooperating. Call the weather hotline, (774) 203-1800, to make sure the event is going on as planned.

To keep the 2026 event fun and fresh, organizers have changed a few things, however, the Festival footprint will remain the same as last year, to include Park Street from Union Street, down Pine St. to Dunham St.

Some popular attractions have found exciting new homes. Our talented caricaturists Adam Cristaldi, David Laferriere, and Shipeetoons will be sketching smiles just next door at the Attleboro Area Industrial Museum (42 Union St.). This fan-favorite attraction is first come, first served, so we recommend heading over early to save your spot! Face painting by Art on the Spot will be happening inside the Attleboro Arts Museum, another first come, first served treat, so plan accordingly. The Museum will also have a special after-hours viewing of its Focus on the Past exhibition featuring eight items from the Museum’s vault along with interpretations of those pieces by contemporary artists.

Of course, the classics you love are returning! Pony rides, ice carving, and hayrides are all back to delight guests of all ages. As you explore the festival grounds, keep your eyes peeled for high-flying fun with roaming stilt walkers and jugglers from Circus Dynamics of Providence. DJ Steve Bishop will be spinning upbeat tunes behind City Hall to keep the party going. And NEW this year, we’re lighting things up with the Neon Nook, located behind the Deeds Building! Inspired by Boston’s Lawn on D, this glowing playground features LED swings, cornhole, and seesaws. You won’t want to miss it! Also new this year is our Black-Light Axe Throwing attraction. Round up your friends and take on some friendly competition with FOAM Axe Throwing! Head over to the blacklight station near the hayrides & show off your inner lumberjack with this glowing new attraction!

City Hall will also be buzzing with excitement, hosting two Magic Shows in the Council Chambers at 5:30 PM and 6:45 PM, with The Dance Factory kicking things off at 4:45 PM with a performance showcasing their talented students. Stevie Kidding, the ridiculous magician, provides a laugh-out-loud, high-energy magic show that captivates children and adults alike. Stevie delivers a bold blend of jaw-dropping magic, theatrical flair, and sharp humor that keeps every audience fully engaged from start to finish, no exceptions. And back by popular demand, don’t miss the high-energy, crowd-pleasing Providence Drum Troupe! Their electrifying street performance hits Park Street at 6:00 PM and promises to be a showstopper.

Our food court is full and features Burrito Bowl, Hong Kong Treasures, Birds Nest Italian, FYR Grill, Binge BBQ, Turner Bros., Pinku, Uncle Joey’s Cannoli’s, and Berry Sweets. Attendees can purchase their choice of delights from their menus!

Attleboro Jewelers has an exhibit in the Registry of Deeds Building with a pictorial of a Charming City, focusing on production of charms made right here in Attleboro. Also in the Deeds Building, Heller Photography will take pictures of guests with an Attleboro Mascot, as a free keepsake from the event. Photos can be downloaded with a link after the event. Attleboro Jewelers will also set up a jewelry make-and-take station, with jewelry made by students of Attleboro High School, bringing event goers back to Attleboro’s “Jewelry City” roots.

All are welcome to attend this downtown Attleboro celebration! The Winter Night Festival is handicapped accessible. Please contact [email protected] if special accommodations are required.
