About this Event
Winter Light: A Creative Reset Retreat
You’re invited to a nourishing, day-long retreat designed to rekindle your creative energy through expressive and contemplative practices such as photography, writing, poetry, and mindfulness.
You’ll be guided throughout the day by Julie McCarter, a photographer and psychotherapist with years of experience facilitating groups in the creative and healing arts — and a lifelong student herself.
Set at the beautiful Harpswell Inn, participants will move through the day at a leisurely pace, rotating between mindfulness practices, expressive photography prompts and reflective writing. As a small group, we will stoke the fires of inspiration and utilize creativity as a lens in itself to foster curiosity and clarity.
Private chef Amanda Palma will be on site, preparing delicious snacks throughout the day and a warm vegetarian lunch.
You'll leave the retreat with a renewed connection to your creativity and be ready to employ simple practices to keep the inspiration flowing throughout the year. Whether you're an artist, business owner, or simply looking for more creativity in daily life, don't miss this opportunity to start the year off with this refreshing reset.
