Join us for the November Winter Lecture to find out about Andy Council’s life as a street artist.
Andy will discuss his work as an artist actively involved in the Bristol street art and graffiti scene. He will describe how he became involved in the subculture from starting out as an illustrator, his position in the scene, his inspirations and the techniques he uses. The gentrification of Bristol, tagging, commercialisation of the art form and NOT being Banksy will probably also be mentioned!
How to take part: The Winter Lectures are free but you need to book your ticket in advance. All Winter Lectures are held at Bristol University, not Bristol Museum & Art Gallery. Please note that this event is an in-person event.
