Come along and create something to add a little extra bit of hygge to your home this winter.Learn to create a beautiful willow and paper lantern to help create that extra cosy glow somewhere in the house.
I will guide you through the process of making a willow framework to make a table top or wall mounted lantern. There will be examples of shapes to follow and there will be an opportunity to have help to build your own ideas.
When we've made the frame we will break for refreshments of coffee and home made mince pies.
The next part of our task will be to cover the framework with a paper and glue skin. Paper soaked in glue is stretched over the frame work and dries to form a taught, waterproof, translucent surface.
Gloves will be provided but I suggest you bring a pinny and don't wear your absolute bestest frock (if your anything like me...)
You will light your lantern with battery led lights and take home a lovely work to impress your friends and family with your creative flare.
