Pineapple Kitchen Winter Break Culinary Camp, December 30, 31, NO CLASS NEW YEARS DAY (Jan. 1st), January 2nd & 3rd, 2024, Ages 7-13.Mon - Tues, 10AM - 4PM, NO CLASS NEW YEARS DAY Thursday, 10AM - 4PM, Friday, 10AM - 8PM* Includes Pop Up Restaurant with Family

Kitchen Kids Basic Culinary and Restaurant Education Course for ages 7-13 will include basic cooking and baking, food safety, restaurant etiquette and operations and will culminate in a four-course graduation dinner for two family members or friends on the last day, Thursday, prepared and served by the students in our mock restaurant. Each student will receive an embroidered Chef's Apron & Hat with their name, measuring spoons & measuring cup and a class course book. Students will prepare their lunch daily. Please contact us for special dietary requirements.
Camp Hours are Mon & Tues, & Thursday, 10AM - 4PM, Friday (Long Day due to Pop Up Restaurant Night) 10AM - 8PM (Parents come at 6PM to dine at their chef's pop up restaurant at Pineapple Kitchen. (NO CLASS Wed., NY's Day) Limited to 2 guests per family due to our space constraints).
This 4 Day Culinary Course will teach:
Principles of Food Safety in the Kitchen
Best Practices for Food Preparation
Basic Kitchen Tools and Measurements
How to Create and make their own Charcuterie Boards for an Appetizer
How to Create and make a Main Course Meal and Dessert
Learn Customer Service and Table Etiquette for Dining
Presentation Skills and Basic Restaurant Operations with Role Playing
Classes held at the Pineapple Kitchen Culinary Theater, 4914 Lena Road, Unit 104, Lakewood Ranch FL 34211
We follow the Manatee County School Calendar and Emergency Closure Schedule.
No Refunds. Credit may be given toward a future class or event at Pineapple Kitchen.
