About this Event
In September 2024, I created this quizz event to provide help for my friend Sherine and her family in Deir Al-Balah, in Gaza.
The winter has been very difficult for Sherine, her husband, her three children and the extended family that has been displaced with them. The few items of food are beyond expansive (roughly 350$ for 1kg of flour), the cold and rain has destroyed the little shelter they had and whenever illness hit, getting medecine and treatments are extremely precarious.
Helping Sherine with my own mean slowly became impossible but letting her down, knowing the fate she is facing, isn't an option either.
I am therefore creating these events to try to collect enough for her and her family to feed or buy warm clothes/blanket to face this incredibly cold winter.
