Learn about shop safety, techniques for lighting and maintaining a coal fire, hammer control, drawing out, scrolling, fullering, half face blows and riveting as you complete your project.Hot punching, hot cutting, and forge welding will also be covered. For ages 16 and up only. Instructor: Frank Gillespie
Students should bring safety glasses, sturdy shoes, cotton gardening or leather work gloves. Dress warm with natural fibers, if possible, especially against the skin. Bring a drink and lunch. All tools are provided.
