❄️As the cool weather creeps in and the summer nights come to an end, we want to heat things up this fall and winter season with our Winter Holiday Drive! A heartwarming spirit of giving, joy, community, warm winter blessings, and hope of Christ through the frosted landscapes and twinkling lights. 🛷Calvary Hill Church of God is partnering with the community to ensure a heartfelt outreach so that every person and family experiences holiday blessings. This winter drive is all about coming together, spreading kindness, and creating endless memories with every donation, sponsor, volunteer, mile driven, and item packed and distributed to each individual or family! No matter the need or how big the task, we are dedicated to pouring into the Central Michigan Communities and bringing the love of Christ with warm smiles and open arms.
☃️ We are striving to provide comfort, dignity, and hope to those experiencing hardship this holiday season. As temperatures drop, many individuals and families, face the winter season without the proper clothing to stay warm. Others may be going through the holidays without the joy of household essentials and gifts for their children. Through the generosity of our church family and local community, we aim to:
🧤Collect new and gently used warm winter gear for people of all ages.
🧻 Ensure families and individuals have household and stable essentials to properly care for themselves without a worry.
🧸 Gather new, unwrapped toys to bring smiles to children during the holiday season.
🛷 Partner with the community to encourage gratitude, kindness, compassion, and fellowship.
🎁 Distribute all donated items directly to families, shelters, and individuals in need.

* Gently Used or New Shoes/Boots
* NEW Socks & Undergarments
🧼 Essential Items We’re Collecting:
* NEW and Unwrapped Toys (for infants, children, & teens)
* Throw Blankets
* Hygiene Essentials (tooth brushes, tooth paste, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, cough drops, etc)
* Household Essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies etc)
* Toys for children
* First Aid Kit Essentials (band aids, burn cream, alcohol wipes, etc)
* Hand Warmers & Foot Warmers
* Hangers, Containers/Bins, Laundry Baskets, & Tape
* Wrapping Paper
❌ Items We’re NOT Collecting and We Kindly Ask You Please Do NOT Donate:
* Clothes intended for summer or warmer weather
* Clothes with holes in them
* Clothes with curse words or vulgar slogans
* Used socks and undergarments
* Overly used toys (we preference new toys so that each child gets to experience a fair holiday season)
* Perishable and non perishable foods
* Home Fall/Christmas Decor
🎿 How You or Your Company Can Get Involved:
⛸️ Donate: Drop off items at the church foyer from September 1st-November 6th.
🏂 Sponsor & Partner: Donate monetarily towards the event. (EVERY dollar earned will go directly to the needs of the individuals and families)
🛷 Volunteer: Help us sort, organize, and distribute donations.
🩵 Share & Support: Tell your friends, family, workplace, or school — every item makes a difference!
✝️ Pray: Be in prayer that God will move in a mighty way to bless this community!

✨When Are Items Being Distributed:
We will distribute winter bundles from December 1st through December 22nd to ensure we can provide for every individual or family before Christmas.
