Save the Date: February 22. weather Pending - 9:30 AM Little Cataraqui Creek approximately 7 KM - Winter Hike - what to bring - water bottle or hot beverage. ice cleats- Dress for the weather boots, snow pants, coat, hat , mitts. If you have snowshoes or hiking poles bring them just in case we have enough snow. I will bring my portable stove we can make hot chocolate or tea after, bring some snacks and/or lunch prepare to embrace a good Canadian winter hike and winter picnic after. Dress appropriately- you will not be allowed on the hike if you show up wearing running shoes or do not have proper winter clothes. Winter Hiking can be a lot of fun but I also take hiking safety serious.
$5.00 person payable to the park at time of your arrival - Children Welcome and are $3.50 each.
Car pool recommended we can discuss in a chat for those who are attending.
We will meet in the main parking lot in front of the visitors centre. Planning on the Reservoir Trail but this may change based on weather and Trail conditions
