Between oyster mushrooms, lion's mane, and different species of jelly fungus, there are so many unique species to find and forage for in the colder months. Join an Ijams naturalist for this beginner workshop where you'll discuss the best places to find these species, their anatomy and function, and fungi's larger role in our diverse ecosystem.All participants MUST complete an Assumption of Risk Form prior to participation in the program:

Ages: This program is designed for ages 14+
Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 1.5 miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points.
Parking: Parking for this Ijams Education Course is free for all participants. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the course begins to obtain a free parking pass upon check-in. Refund Policy: No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Ijams only awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
