A short recap of what we have been up to since August, and how we are putting your donations to work:
In August, the Booster Club worked with the Minnesota State Fair to help teams fundraise by volunteering at Little Farm Hands. We also hosted a fall athletics dinner for student-athletes and their families. Our volunteers welcomed and fed over 150 people for dinner, without charge.
In September, we helped host the homecoming game and festivities, and we sold spirit wear. We also brought in a staff meal from Cossetta during conferences.
October was by far the busiest month for the booster club. Our teams were incredibly successful in playoffs and we raised money for fan buses and student tickets.
On November 24, we hosted the winter athletics dinner for student-athletes and their families, again, at no cost to our guests.
We have also been having a heck of a lot of fun: cheering for our teams (in person, via livestream or by updates from the group text), losing our minds at the Mayor's cup, surprising the boys soccer team with a SPPD escort to U.S. Bank Stadium, recognizing our student-athlete's accomplishments at the SPPS Board of Education meeting, and meeting Mayor Carter who proclaimed November 19th, 2025 St. Paul Como Park Cross Country Day.
What's coming up? We are looking forward to: the senior picnic, spring athletics snack delivery, winter conferences staff meal, AP testing snacks, teacher appreciation week and the senior trip to Valley Fair.
Is there anything you don't do? Yes, LOTS. We would like to raise enough money to allow us to provide classroom grants to educators, and to provide more frequent ad-hoc funding grants to the school community.
We have a big goal this year, please consider helping us reach it so we can expand our reach.
