Mark your calendar for Winter Flight Fest, returning to the EAA Aviation Museum on Saturday, February 8, from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.Kids and those young at heart will enjoy a day filled with family-friendly activities, interactive exhibits, and the skiplane fly-in with a complimentary chili lunch!
All-Day Museum Activities:
• Wright Flyer Cockpit Climb: Experience what the very first powered flight was like!
• Paper Airplane Launcher: Launch your own paper airplane through a powered launcher.
• Aviator BINGO: Join our aviation-themed BINGO game, with a twist!
• Rotorcrafting: Build your own helicopter with a working rotor from recycled household materials.
• Pararescue Challenge: Build a parachute and put it to the test in our wind tunnel.
• Indoor Model Airplane Flying: See what it takes to build and fly a radio-controlled model airplane!
Admissions:
All events and activities inside the EAA Aviation Museum require admission. Adults, $15.00; Seniors age 62+, $13.00; Youth ages 6-18, $12.00; Children ages 5 and under, FREE. EAA members are FREE.
