Join the No Child Left Inside® Program and the Connecticut Aquatic Resources Education (Fish with CARE Program) for our Annual Winter Festival!This FREE event will take place at Burr Pond State Park on Saturday, February 1st, 2025 (with an inclement weather date of Sunday, Feb. 2nd). The Winter Festival is a partnership between the CT DEEP State Parks Division NCLI Program and Fish with CARE. There are a variety of activities and programs being offered: ice fishing (safe ice and weather dependent), search & rescue dogs, mushing dog demonstrations, DEEP partners, various DEEP Departments and Bureaus, winter games, ice sculptures, winters hikes and walks, marshmallow roasting, food for purchase and so much more.
