Join textile artist Melanie Monique to create felted works of art using wool blankets as your canvas. This weekend workshop will take you on a creative and colorful journey where you will learn to create floral imagery invokeing stories of people, place, and the land. Personal, cultural, and universal symbolism can be woven into the fabric to create your own unique design. The slow, process-orientated execution of felting becomes meditative and at times acts as healing.Saturday March 8th - Sunday March 9th (10am-5pm)

* Kit includes felting needles, foam block, roving and wool background
* Participants are also welcome to bring a wool sweater or blanket to felt on if they wish
