Join us for the 2nd Annual: Winter Discovery Day! This event is being made possible by the Mat-Su Trails and Parks Foundation, the valley's local trails and parks resource. What is Winter Discovery Day?
If you didn't attend last year, Winter Discovery Day is a half-day event designed to connect locals to winter recreation opportunities and resources in the valley. Here is a little video from last year's event. The event is a space to offer free gear demonstrations, activities, share information, and enjoy the outdoors.
Event details:
* When: Saturday, March 8 from 11AM-4PM
* Vendor set up: 9AM-11AM
* Where: Main event staging at Government Peak Recreation Area
What we're looking for from vendors:
* Host a gear demonstration
* Have an info table about your organization, club, or sport
* Have gear available for people to borrow
* Bring hot drinks or a fire pit
