Mrs. Hachey is back in the kitchen! Join us for some fun over winter break! Our Winter Cooking Camp offers hands-on creating where kids can learn to make delicious meals, bake tasty treats, and develop their culinary skills in a safe and exciting environment.

THIS CAMP IS FOR KIDS 7-12 YEARS OLD.

Camp is held from 9am-3pm at NewBo City Market (1100 3rd Street SE, Cedar Rapids, IA, 52401).

Dropoff is from 8:40-9:00 and pickup is from 3:00-3:20pm.

Campers are required to pack a lunch.

Please Bring:

A clearly labeled backpack with:

• A snack
• A lunch
• A reusable water bottle
• Winter gear

Please DON’T bring:

• Cell phones
• Electronics
• Valuables
• Sharps

Mrs. Carly Hachey is a teacher in the Linn-Mar district with over 17 years of experience in the classroom and TWO masters degrees in education. She will guide our campers through a day full of food-based learning! Kids will have the chance to explore different topics through activities taking place in the NewBo City Market Culinary Kitchen. All activities will be age appropriate , educational, and most of all, FUN!

No refunds or exchanges. Ticket sales support the camp counselors, as well as the non-profit mission of the NewBo City Market as a small business incubator. Thank you!
