Join us for a nourishing day of connection, delicious food, and grounding practices to welcome Hong Kong's most enchanting season. We’ll begin with Elemental Yin Yoga to help you unwind and reset, perfectly timed for the shift in seasons and the week ahead. Following yoga, enjoy a vibrant plant-based brunch prepared by Paloma & Matt. The afternoon brings Breathwork under the trees, inviting clarity, expansiveness, and deeper insights. We’ll close the day gathered around a fire, sharing plant-based desserts and garden-fresh tea, surrounded by good conversation and kindred spirits.

We start with an opening meditation, led by Matt to connect you with each other and the space. Under the tree canopy, sink into a state of profound calm with Bex's Elemental Yin Yoga for Deep Rest. In this slow and soothing session, she’ll guide you through gentle postures inspired by the elements—earth, water, fire, and air—each chosen to bring balance, openness, and a sense of ease. Through grounding meditation and mindful pranayam, Bex creates a nurturing atmosphere where you can let go, release tension, and simply rest. Perfect for all experience levels, this practice is a chance to reconnect, breathe deeply, and truly unwind.

Wholesome, plant-based, and crafted to nourish both body and spirit—our community brunches bring people together over a vibrant, buffet-style spread. For this event, the food will be designed to warm you from the inside out as the winter weather starts to get cooler.

We gather around the table to share food, laughter, and conversation, creating a space to connect and forge new friendships. Every dish is allergen-friendly and thoughtfully prepared with pure, natural ingredients—no additives, preservatives, or unwanted extras. It’s a feast that inspires, filling you up with goodness and community warmth!

This week’s Breathwork session invites you to dive deep into the unconscious, using the conscious connected breath as a transformative medium. Designed to ground us and reawaken presence within the body, this practice offers a potent experience with immense potential for personal insight and growth. Always full of surprises, each Breathwork session is profoundly different from the last. You’ll leave with a sense of expansive awareness and profound reflections to guide you into the week ahead. Bring along a pen and journal to capture any insights that arise! Suitable for both beginners and experienced breathers.

Matt offers one-to-one sessions and private group sessions for thos interested.

After our breathwork session, we’ll treat you to some delightful vegan desserts to bring a touch of sweetness to the experience, alongside freshly brewed garden tea. Gather around the warm, crackling fire—a perfect space to connect, reflect, and share the insights that surfaced during your breathwork journey.

Situated in the nurturing valley of Tung Hang Mei in Mui Wo, Lantau Island, Ark Eden offers a space like no other that Hong Kong can offer. As a Permaculture demonstration site, Eco-activities centre and functioning mini-farm, Ark Eden has long been a beacon of hope for many who have become lost in the repetitiveness that city life can so often consume us with here in Hong Kong.

About Baba's Community Brunches
It is with these Community Brunch events - started in February 2023 and run seasonally since - that we have partnered with Ark Eden to bring accessible community wellness to the Hong Kong people. Wellness in Hong Kong often comes at a premium - leaving it inaceessible for many who deeply need it. We challenge that paradigm, bringing something new, inclusive and loving into the wellness space.

Our community Brunches are also open spaces for commiunity members who offer wellness activities to hold space for others and access a different type of audience. They are designed to give space to those who may be new to teaching a platform to do so in a safe and supported environment.
