About this Event
Learn to Skate is a set of classes that meets once a week on Sundays or Thursdays. Cost per skater is $150 for six Sundays in Session III. Each Sunday class includes:
- 30 minutes of group instruction, plus 60 minutes of practice time
- Beginner classes, Basic 1 and Basic 2 (ages 6-14), are offered at two times on Sundays: 4:00-4:30 or 5:00-5:30. Choose one class time.
- Complimentary skate rental during Learn to Skate classes
- Complimentary skating during public sessions at Pop Weaver Youth Pavilion
- Free parking at Indiana State Fairgrounds during lesson time

Snowplow Sam (ages 3-5), Basic 1 (beginners ages 6-14) and Basic 2| 4:-4:30 lessons, 4:30-5 p.m. practice
Basic 3, 4, 5, 6; Pre-Free Skate and Free Skate 1-6 | 4-4:30 p.m. practice, 4:30-5 lessons, 5-5:30 p.m. practice
ALSO! Basic 1 and Basic 2 (beginners ages 6-14) | 4-5 p.m. practice, 5-5:30 lessons. This is an excellent option for families: Parents can take the Adult class while their kids take Basic 1 or 2.
Adult 1-2 (beginners ages 15+) and Adult 3-6 (ages 15+) | 4-5 p.m. practice, 5-5:30 p.m. lessons
Make-up classes - on Thursdays 5:30-6:30 - must be scheduled with a Learn to Skate director, Patty or Natalie, at [email protected]. No make-ups on Thursday, Jan. 8.
