About this Event
Learn to Skate is a set of classes that meets once a week on Sundays or Thursdays. Session 1 is 6 weeks on Sundays. Cost per skater is $150 for Session 1 Sundays. Each class includes:
- 30 minutes of group instruction, plus 30-60 minutes of practice time
- Complimentary skate rental during Learn to Skate classes
- Free parking at Indiana State Fairgrounds during lesson time
- Complimentary skating during public sessions at Pop Weaver
- Holiday recital included in Session II lessons (October-December)
Sunday 4:00-5:30 p.m. | Sept. 21, 28, Oct. 12, 19, 26*, Nov. 2 - $150
Snowplow Sam (ages 3-5), Basic 1 (beginners ages 6-14) and Basic 2| 4:00-4:30 lessons, 4:30-5:00 p.m. practice
Basic 3, 4, 5, 6; Pre-Free Skate and Free Skate 1-6 | 4:00-4:30 p.m. practice, 4:30-5:00 p.m. lessons, 5:00-5:30 p.m. practice
Adult 1-2 (beginners ages 15+) and Adult 3-6 (ages 15+) | 4:00-5:00 p.m. practice, 5:00-5:30 p.m. lessons
Turns, Twizzles & Transitions - This specialty class is for competitive skaters in Aspire 1 through Gold/Senior, who want to add style and power to their programs and improve their component score. $90 for six weeks for skaters taking another LTS or Aspire class. / 4:00-5:00 p.m. practice, 5:00-5:30 p.m. lessons
*Oct. 26 time is 4:20-5:50 p.m.
