About this Event
Each year the U.S. sends pounds and pounds of clothing to our landfills that could be needed and enjoyed by community members. This December, try something different! Extend the life of your garments by donating or swapping with other folks onsite. You might just find a new (to you) favorite outfit! Whether you're joining us just to drop off or looking to swap, you can head home with something to feel good about.
Clothing for all ages, sizes, and gender identities will be accepted as long as they are in good, wearable condition! Leftover clothing will be donated to
The Breathing Room for their
community free store.
Serving People with a Mission will also be
distributing free coats and items from
the Amazon Returns Store.
While at the Plant Chicago firehouse, we welcome you to browse a selection of local small businesses, enjoy live music and storytellers, and try out a sustainable gift wrapping station.
