ArtPlay is part of the UAB Center for the Arts and supports its mission to broaden access to high-quality arts experiences for people of all ages and backgrounds.
When you take an ArtPlay class, you’re joining a learning environment focused on skill-building, creative exploration, and personal growth. Whether you are trying something for the first time or looking to expand your abilities, our teaching artists provide guidance, encouragement, and practical techniques to help you progress.
We value a welcoming atmosphere where participants can explore ideas, practice new skills, think creatively, and express themselves through the arts. Through hands-on learning, students develop confidence, communication skills, focus, and an appreciation for the creative process.
