Greetings from The Adventure Center! We are thrilled to announce our first event of 2026: a comprehensive "Learn How to Winter Camp" experience. This unique event will teach you essential winter camping skills, including: Setting up a winter camp, Building a fire in both a wood stove and a campfire, dressing for success in winter conditions, Keeping your food and gear from freezing, Basic first aid for winter conditions.In addition to these invaluable lessons, you will receive your Cruising Canoes Level 1 Winter Camping Certificate upon completion of the event.
We will also provide and enjoy four meals together: lunch, dinner, breakfast, and lunch, all prepared by you with ingredients supplied by us.
The adventure doesn’t stop there! We have an afternoon and evening of snowshoeing planned, along with tobogganing and ice fishing for your enjoyment. Our spacious tents are designed to comfortably accommodate up to three people each, making this a perfect outing for friends and family.
Everything is included, except for your personal items on the trip list, which will be emailed to you upon signing up.
