Winter Business Intensive Class 8: Business Plan Presentation, Feedback, & BBS Work

ASD’s Winter Business Intensive is a free, 8-class course for beginning or expanding producers, aggregators, distributors, markets, or more working in agriculture.
By the end of the complete course, you will have a business plan and will be eligible to apply for an Appalachia Regional Food Business Center Business Builder Subaward (BBS) to jump start your progress. You can attend the class virtually or in person.
Instructions for virtual attendance will be emailed to you prior to the class start date. All in-person classes will be held at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center, 1 Partnership Circle, Abingdon, VA 24210. Specific room details will be emailed to you prior to the class start date.
Students will share their business plans with the class and get constructive feedback from their peers and ASD staff.
ASD’s RFBC staff will help students through their BBS applications, outline next steps, connect students to mentors and businesses, and review best management practices for their agribusiness.
