ASD’s Winter Business Intensive is a free, 8-class course for beginning or expanding producers, aggregators, distributors, markets, or more working in agriculture.By the end of the complete course, you will have a business plan and will be eligible to apply for an Appalachia Regional Food Business Center Business Builder Subaward (BBS) to jump start your progress. You can attend the class virtually or in person.
Instructions for virtual attendance will be emailed to you prior to the class start date. All in-person classes will be held at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center, 1 Partnership Circle, Abingdon, VA 24210. Specific room details will be emailed to you prior to the class start date.
Cindy Fields of the Small Business Development Center and Sarah Scyphers of Farm Credit of the Virginias will join us to discuss how their respective organizations can help you with funding and support for your agribusiness.
