Winter Break to Javits NYC - Outbound | Saturday, December 20

Shuttle-UM provides direct transportation from College Park to Javits Center in NYC for Winter Break.

Important: This bus goes only to Javits Center in NYC. If you need Metropark Station in NJ, please book the separate Metropark event .

• Tickets appear FREE on Eventbrite but will be charged to your UMD student account
• Cost: $70 per person (charged after service)
• You will need to provide your UMD Student UID at checkout to complete registration

Departure Location: Metered spaces at The Clarice off of Stadium Drive

Departure Time: 12:30 PM

Drop-off Location: Jacob Javits Convention Center, 34th St. between 11th & 12th Ave, New York, NY   Near 34th Street-Hudson Yards Subway Station

Estimated Arrival: Approximately 5:00-5:30 PM (may vary due to traffic)

Travel Time: Approximately 4.5-5 hours

Check-in:

• Arrive at least 15 minutes early (by 12:15 PM)
• Please have your Eventbrite ticket (QR code, digital or printed) with you

Important: Buses depart promptly at 12:30 PM and will not wait. Please plan to arrive early.

Luggage Allowance:

• Limit: Each passenger may bring two (2) large items (e.g., suitcases, duffel bags) to be stored underneath the bus, and one (1) carry-on item (e.g., backpack) to be kept at your seat.
• Keep all valuables (laptops, Medic*tion, keys) with you in your carry-on.

On the Bus:

• Comfortable coach seating
• Restroom on board
• Please remain seated while the bus is moving

Buses are not currently trackable. Share location updates with parents/friends via text or phone to coordinate pickup at Javits Center.

Trips run as long as road conditions are safe. In the event of a weather-related cancellation, our Break Transportation team will reach out to registered passengers via email.

Check back closer to the registration / cancellation closing date—spots may open when plans change.

• Register/Cancel: Complete your registration or cancel by Thursday, December 18 at 11:59 PM.
• Billing: Ensure you provided your 9-digit UMD Student UID at checkout.
• Check Email: Look for your Eventbrite confirmation.
• Arrive Early: Arrive at The Clarice by 12:15 PM (15 minutes early).

You can cancel your ticket through your Eventbrite account until Thursday, December 18 at 11:59 PM. After this deadline, tickets become non-refundable.

Changing Your Plans? If you need to cancel your ticket, you can do so through your Eventbrite account until the final ticket sale date. Please note that after this deadline, tickets become non-refundable.
