Schedule: December 26 - Fruit batteries and electromagnetic motors;
December 27 - Bath bombs, oobleck & slime, lava lamps
Lunch: Participants should bring a bagged lunch & drink
WHAT WE'LL BE DOING:
Fruit batteries: Learn about batteries and electricity and see if you can build the strongest fruit or vegetable battery.
Electromagnetic motors: Learn about this device that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy using the principles of electromagnetism and build a strong electromagnetic motor that spins nonstop.
Bath bombs: Learn the chemistry behind the bubbly bath and mix bath bomb ingredients to create your own to bring home.
Oobleck & slime: Learn about this Non-Newtonian fluid that can be liquid or solid, depending on how you handle it. Make your own magic, messy, gooey, slime and oobleck to take home with you.
Lava lamp: Make a lava lamp using citric acid, baking soda, and food colorant.
NOTES:
- Register siblings and receive a 10% discount
