All camps are 3 days a week, 9am-1pm (please note: 12/27-12/29 will be Tuesday-Thursday instead of Monday-Wednesday)12/19-12/21 and 12/27-12/29, choose your date(s) in drop down menu
Please read all info below before signing up. You will also receive this same info via email within 1 week of camp start date.
Camp spots are fully refundable up until 7 days before start of camp. However, we have a small camp size and it usually sells out creating a waitlist so please let me know ASAP if you are needing to cancel so we can open the space up to other campers with enough time to plan. If you need to cancel within 7 days of start of camp, a refund will be given if I am able to fill your child’s spot.
Camp is perfect for ages 7-12, no previous art experience is needed but it is very helpful if they enjoy drawing, coloring, and/or being creative. Please no campers under the age of 7 (unless discussed with me prior).
Camp will now be held at an art collective I opened during the pandemic! This location is called The Shop Monterey and is near Bike Works and NPS Sloat Gate. It is the perfect space for camp. It's an art and small business collective and we have a large art room in the space that is perfect for camp!
New Location: The Shop Monterey, 1271 Tenth Street Unit D, Monterey
Masks: At this time, following the CDPH update, masks are not required but can absolutely be worn if by your child if you are more comfortable with that. Please let me know and I can make sure your child adheres to mask wearing unless eating or drinking. We have very high ceilings and plenty of space for the kids to move around and create.
Camp size: Camp will be limited to 20 or less attendees.
Cleanliness is of highest priority. Supplies will be sanitized before and after each use. Tables and chairs will be wiped down and hand sanitizer is always available.
Attire: Please send your child in clothes that you don't mind getting paint on. We will be working with acrylic paint. It is not guaranteed to wash out of all clothing and the kids love to move around and let the paint fly!
Staffing: Ms. Jessica will be the host for each day of camp. Ms. Gina will also be at camp to assist and create!
Camp hours and drop off info: 9am-1pm. We are no longer able to offer extended care. Kids can be dropped off as early as 8:30am and must be picked up by 1pm so the business can open for the afternoon.
There will be a sign in/sign out sheet each day that will need to be signed. Please text me the name of an adult who will be picking up your camper. There will be a chance to let me know about drop off and pick up adults when we send out our information letter prior to camp.
Snack and Lunch: Please send your camper with a snack and lunch. We have a refrigerator available if needed.
General Camp Projects: I love to get to know the kids and cater the camp activities to their liking. Each day will have a guided drawing/sketching activities, a painting element (on canvas or mixed media) and we will have a craft project each day.
The kids will be learning and applying drawing techniques, color theory and painting through our daily “guided painting”.
I am so excited to see the kid’s again and create with them. They are so creative and fun! They will absolutely love the new space and find even more inspiration than they did in our last location!
