About this Event
🎮 Ready for Your Child to Build Their Own Game?
If your child loves video games, imagine how empowering it will feel for them to create one of their own. Our Game-Design class turns that enthusiasm into real, meaningful learning. Students work hands-on in a supportive setting where creativity, confidence, and collaboration flourish.
In this engaging winter program, students:
• Learn the core elements of game design including story, level creation, rules, and mechanics
• Brainstorm and build their own digital game ideas from the ground up
• Work with peers and strengthen communication, problem solving, and teamwork
• Practice critical thinking, planning, logic, and design while having a blast
Why Parents Choose This Class
• It blends joy and education seamlessly. Students aren’t just playing games. They’re learning how to design, build, and improve them, which taps into both creativity and higher-order thinking.
• It nurtures real skills that matter. Planning, storytelling, iteration, collaboration, and technical literacy follow them far beyond the classroom.
• It gives homeschoolers a purposeful group experience. Students stay socially connected, engaged, and learning in a structured environment throughout the winter break.
