Many people experience seasonal changes in mood & energy this time of year. The holidays are over & winter can sometimes feel isolating or slow, but itโs also an opportunity for deep rest and introspection. Acknowledge the natural rhythms of the season, while finding a balance of the internal stillness with mindful energy. We will highlight yoga & other practices that counteract the stagnation & heaviness often felt in winter months, promoting both mental & physical vitality. This is an adult class focusing on coping with "winter blues". We will have a gentle yoga flow followed by learning about the "winter blues" & ways to lean into this season with warmth & energy. We will end with restorative postures & guided meditation.
The class is capped at 9 participants to ensure a safe and personal environment. It will be conducted by a yoga instructor who is also a mental health professional.
Mats and props are available, but you're welcome to bring your own, along with a water bottle.
The self-care investment for this session is $30.
