Led by naturalist Mr Sohail Madan, this two-hour guided walk offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the sanctuary during peak winter, when migratory birds are well settled alongside a wide variety of resident species.

Getting There

Surajpur Bird Sanctuary is located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and is easily accessible by road. Here are a few ways to reach the sanctuary:

  • You can drive to the sanctuary from Delhi, Noida, or other nearby cities. It takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours from central Delhi, depending on traffic. The sanctuary has parking facilities near the entrance.
  • Metro
  • The nearest metro station is Knowledge Park II (on the Aqua Line). From the metro station, you can hire an auto or a cab to reach the sanctuary, which is about 20-25 minutes away.
  • By Bus:
  • Buses from Noida or Greater Noida also pass through areas near Surajpur. You can then take an auto-rickshaw or taxi to the sanctuary.
