WINTER BIRDING 101
Don't let the cold keep you indoors! Winter is a fantastic time for birdwatching. With most trees bare of leaves, our feathered friends are easier to spot. Join us for a guided hike to search of common winter residents and learn tricks for identifying them by sight, sound, and behavior.
WHAT TO BRING
Bring your own binoculars (there may be some to borrow). Potable water is not available at this location; bring your own drinking water. Dress for the weather!

PETS
Pets are not allowed in the nature center nor on Oak Trail. Pets are welcome outside and on Hickory Trail. They must be under control at all times and on a leash no longer than 6’. For the health and safety of all, pick up and properly dispose of pets’ waste.
Sometimes we ask that pets are not brought to a program. That is determined by the nature of the activity, presentation, hike, location, and/or safety issues.
