About this Event

Registration is required to attend this event as space is limited. Please make sure ALL fields in the registration form are completed and that a confirmation email is received.

Join Golden Eagle Audubon on a slow-paced birding stroll through Pamela Baker park and the Eagle greenbelt. Possible winter birds include a variety of ducks and waterfowl like Buffleheads, cormorants, and mergansers, as well as songbirds and raptors like Red Tail Hawks, American Kestrels, and Bald Eagles.

Accessibility: This event is appropriate for those with visual impairment and/or limited mobility, and is wheelchair accessible. The park offers paved paths throughout.

Birding Skill Level: All levels are welcome! Binoculars will be available to borrow if needed.

Age: Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.

Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm. Check-in is at 9:50am. Please arrive at check-in so we can start on time.

: We will meet in the parking lot of Pamela Baker Park at 850 E Fishing Crk Dr in Eagle, which is near the end of E Colchester Dr off of S Eagle Rd. (Click on "Meeting Place" to get directions from your location.)

What to Bring: Layers for Weather, sun protection, closed-toe shoes, and binoculars. No dogs please. You may want to bring hand warmers, and Yak-traks if it's icy.

Restroom Availability: Restrooms are available near the parking lot.

Special Conditions: Paths may be icy and/or slippery.

Inclement Weather: If there is an unhealthy AQI or steady precipitation forecast, the trip will be cancelled.

Cancellation Policy: If your plans change, please cancel your ticket on Eventbrite or contact the field trip leader listed above. Participants who miss two trips without advance notice may be suspended from registering for three months. Thanks for your understanding!
