Join Allerton Natural Areas staff for Winter Bird Hikes on Fridays, Jan. 3, Feb. 7 and March 7 from 9 to 11 a.m. Meet in the .
In the winter months the Park is home to six species of woodpeckers, four species of owls and a long list of other hardy winter species. This time of year is a great time to start learning about our local bird species!
A limited number of binoculars will be available on a first-come basis. At times the hikes will leave the trails, so dress accordingly.
$5/person. Hikes are free for Allerton Bird Club members. Join the Bird Club . All sales are final. If a meeting location changes, registrants and bird club members will be notified by email.
