Step into a winter adventure that refreshes the soul and supports the birds we love! Volunteer with The Grail in contributing to the nation’s longest-running community science project, the Christmas Bird Count. Our group will meet at Grailville (O'Bannonville Rd, Loveland, OH 45140) on Thursday December 18 at 8 AM to take a leisurely 1.5 mile hike to look for birds on the property! We will spend the morning identifying, counting, and recording all the birds we see and hear. Partway through, we’ll take a break at The Grail Headquarters to warm up, get warm drinks, and eat treats.
We expect the walk to take about 3 to 4 hours, though you are welcome to head out early if needed. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars if you have them! Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just starting out, we have a place for everyone.
