Navatman brings you an immersive Bharatanatyam-filled week where you can:
Learn: Warm ups and body conditioning for strength and flexibility
Hone: Practice adavus and technique for stamina, grace, and precision
Dig in: Explore choreography and performance in an ensemble setting
If you consider yourself a dancer who really wants to improve your skills and love the idea of finding freedom through workshops and classes, this intensive is for you!
Experience required:
Intended for intermediate/advanced to professional level Bharatanatyam dancers. If you are a beginner and want to join, please send us a note and we can see if we may be able to accommodate you.
Who this is for:
Bharatanatyam dancers looking to challenge themselves, push to the next level, and deepen their understanding of dance through a week of rigorous but fun training.
What you will get out of it:
Body conditioning exercises to incorporate into your daily practice; increased strength and stamina; greater understanding of technique and alignment in adavus; huge jump in growth over one week. Get to know and work closely with your teachers and fellow students!
Class timings will be between 9AM and 5PM, including warm up/conditioning, technique, and choreography/theory sessions.
