About this Event
The transition between winter and spring is the perfect time to experience a hands-on foraging walk through a series of riverside paths and woodlands before making your own immune boosting and spring cleansing tonics!
As you walk, you'll find an abundance of fresh new leaves emerging. This new greenery and blossom medicine can be preserved beautifully in apple cider vinegar and you will be shown how to identify and collect them from the hedgerows.
After this, you'll continue with the wildcrafting workshop. Here, you'll be shown how to make a range of ways to make spring cleansing tonics, using the wild leaves and blossoms to enhance the taste and the healing properties.
You'll leave the experience with lots of newfound knowledge and your own creations to enjoy at home – the tonics are a great addition to any morning wake-up drink, added to water, fizz or cocktails!
This experience is suitable for beginners and advanced foragers.
