About this Event
Put on your walking shoes and come with me, Appalachian Juju (38 yr practitioner of eclectic witchcraft and a ordained pagan minister), through the Downtown Winston-Salem Arts District and learn about the tragedies, mishaps, and the spirits left behind that still roam the shops, bars, restaurant, and venues of our beloved Arts District! This tour focuses more on the average citizens impacted by tragedy when the before the arts district came to be. You will hear the history of the buildings, details on dates and other historical fact, and the annecdotes of hauntings still active today.
The Arts District is not very accessible to those using wheeled mobility aides. If you have a disabilit, feel free to reach out and ask questions before booking your tour. Not recommended for young children and any person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Ticket sales are kept at low prices due to the economy. A tip at the end of the tour is appreciated, but not an expectation.
