Join the Nebraska Opportunity Exchange (NOE) for Winning State Business: Nebraska Funding, a virtual session designed to help small businesses, contractors, and founders understand state funding and grant programs that support innovation, growth, and capacity-building.
Facilitated by representatives from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) and Invest Nebraska, this session will walk you through real-world steps to:
- Understand which programs your business may qualify for
- Get connected to the right resources and support
- Get ready to apply for state-backed funding opportunities
In this 90-minute virtual session, you will:
- Get an overview of Business Innovation Act programs (Prototype, R&D, Seed Investment)
- Hear about Nebraska Academic R&D Grants and related innovation tools
- Gain insight into SBIR/STTR support and how these federal programs connect to state resources
- Learn how Invest Nebraska works alongside these programs to support innovation and growth
You’ll also have time for live Q&A with state and capital ecosystem representatives so you can ask specific questions about fit, readiness, and next steps for your business.
This is a practical, plain-language session built to help you move from “curious about state funding” to “actively in the pipeline.”
