ABOUT THE WINNALEAH ARTS FEST 2025The Winnaleah Arts Fest is a group art event delivered by Artable held over 5 days in January 2025. 8 art teachers who each specialise in different mediums will teach a 5 day workshop to 10-12 students - you pick one teacher to spend your 5 days with. The event aims to bring 100 artists to the region and to establish an annual art event in the township of Winnaleah in Tasmania’s remote North-East where Artable has built it's new home of Art retreats Enclave. The event is held at the Winnaleah School along with use of the Winnaleah Memorial Hall and Recreation Grounds.
At night we gather for dinners and events held at the nearby Winnaleah Memorial Hall. Artist demos, talks, a group paint around and more will be on each evening. You can even walk down the road and enjoy a beer in Artable owner Gillian's country hotel and meet the loclas.
Included in your workshop fee is your 5 day workshop, lunches, dinners and morning and afternoon teas as well as all evening events including a farewell dinner (dress up theme) with band. See below for accommodation and transfer options.
Artable believes in the importance of doing business in an ethical and inclusive way. Winnaleah is a tiny remote farming community in the beautiful rolling hills of the North East farming belt. This event supports a rural region and brings significant work to the people who live there. We are also working with a number of Tasmanian creatives, all leaders in their chosen medium. We anticipate that these workshops will sell out very quickly. We encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment and then secure your accommodation and boat transfers if driving over asap. *FULL WORKSHOP PRICE IS $1495 OR EARLY BIRD PRICING IS $1295 IF YOU BOOK BEFORE 9 AUGUST (pls note we cannot discount our international artist David Dibble) - YOU NEED TO BUY YOUR WORKSHOP PLACE USING THIS LISTING TO PAY YOUR $200 DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE 1 OCTOBER 2024 (we will send you an invoice).
