Hiking in winter has its perks – less crowded, quieter and no bugs! Staying comfortable in the colder weather is key to enjoying a winter hike. We’ll make sure you have a list to be well-prepared. We’ll hike about 3 miles on the Pate Hollow Trail – enjoying a variety of terrain from ridgetops to valleys. Enjoy the afternoon in the company of fellow women seeking outdoor experiences and become a part of our community. 2 hours
This is an official WINGS event! The goal of Women in Nature Gaining Skills (WINGS) is to encourage and empower women with the skills and confidence they need to partake in outdoor recreation activities in the south-central Indiana area. Each WINGS event features women-led hands-on training, with the goal of building a community of women interested in outdoor recreation. WINGS events take place on the 3rd Sunday* of each month and are open to women ages 16 and up.
