Traveling through Sicily via a glass of wine!
Through Wines of Sicily at SicilyFEST 2024, on May 2-3-4-5. with just a glass in hand, you can embark on a journey to discover the rich tapestry of Sicilian viticulture, where each sip tells a story of the land where the Gods once roamed and Greek mythology thrived.
Partnering with WineSicily, a prestigious wine event held in Palermo, this immersive experience brings together over 50 esteemed wine producers, showcasing more than 400 wines each year. From the sun-drenched plains to the rugged mountains and picturesque hillsides, Sicily's diverse terrain nurtures an array of grape varieties, each imbued with its own distinct colors, scents, and flavors.
Among the captivating wineries awaiting discovery are names like Cantine Fina, Rio Favara, Pietradolce, Cantine Russo, Pietra Dolce, dei Principi di Spadafora, Terre di Entella, Salvatore Tamburello, Tenuta Rasocolmo, Azienda Destro.
This year's journey through the Wines of Sicily takes an intriguing turn with the addition of a Sicilian Marsala Tasting, featuring the esteemed Florio Marsala wines from the renowned Florio Winery. As you embark on this sensory exploration, you'll delve into the rich tapestry of Sicilian viticulture, where each sip tells a story of the land where the Gods once roamed and Greek mythology thrived.

There will be 2 different "journeys" available:
- A Sicilian wine tasting selection which will include 3 glasses of wine and appetizers (£30)
- A Marsala Tasting selection which will include 2 glasses of Marsala with paired appetizers (£20)
Both options include also the entrance ticket to SicilyFEST 2024.
Single glasses will be available at the "Wines of Sicily" corner.
