"Wine Workshop Series" of Wine Educational classes with tastings. Austrian wine has a reputation for exceptional quality and great value. Only one-third the size of Oregon, it has nearly three times the vineyards, over 80% of which are classified for Qualitätswein (Quality Wine). We’ll provide an introduction to Austrian wine accompanied by tastings of indigenous grapes such as Grüner Veltliner, Blaufränkisch, and Zweigelt as well as world class examples of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
