Get to know the expert--Gregg β3Gβ Sheldon:
Gregg is a snarky New Englander who is grateful to have found many reasons to get out of bed almost every morning. Here are a couple:
Wide Open Throttle Therapy aka WOTT: As a young boy, Greggβs father exposed him to the β66β style burnout in a 1962 Chevrolet Corvette that his father restored and currently owns. This burnout changed the course of young 3Gβs life. For Gregg, WOTT currently includes cars, motorcycles, and racing to name a few.
Assisting Fellow Humans: For the better part of a decade, Gregg was employed as a social worker and preferred to work with the younger generation. He maxed out his formal education and was looking for the next venture. During a school meeting in 2012, he had an epiphany to teach the next generation how to enter the automotive industry.
Gregg then enrolled in automotive tech school and spent the next 7 years working as a technical and shop manager. His unique skill set from his previous careers as a social worker and automotive tech set him up for success. In 2017, Gregg opened the doors to AutoShop Vocational PBC. Their 20-day curriculum allows graduates to be employed as an entry level Automotive Technician in far less time than traditional programs. When the pandemic closed the doors to the automotive program, 3G pivoted to an online course teaching automotive basics every driver should know. He is currently working on a grand reopening and thoroughly enjoys empowering people around their vehicles.
We are so excited for this unique collaboration!
