About this Event
Discover the emerging world of non-alcoholic wines in this special Dry January class! Perfect for wine lovers and curious beginners alike, this event will introduce you to the growing category of N/A beverages and their unique qualities.
We'll dive into a guided tasting of four carefully selected non-alcoholic wines or crafted mocktails. Using the same sensory analysis techniques as a traditional wine class, we’ll explore the appearance, aroma, taste, and finish of each beverage.
Over the course of the session, we will explore all aspects of non-alcoholic wines: what they are, how they’re made, and why they’re becoming increasingly popular. You’ll learn about innovative production methods, challenges in crafting alcohol-free options, and how these beverages compare to traditional wines.
Whether you’re participating in Dry January or just seeking alternatives, this event offers a unique and flavorful experience.
This Extended Education class is for personal enrichment only, and is not eligible for college credit. If you are interested in learning more about LMC's Wine and Viticulture Technology program, please reach out to Program Director Tim Godfrey at [email protected].
