CALLING ALL HYGIENISTS. You're the wine that we want... for a fun night filled with wine tasting, charcuterie, social mixing, and hygiene education! Join us at the modern, custom-built Espire Dental DTC practice in Denver, Colorado for an evening led by Katrina M. Sanders, RDH, BSDH, M.Ed, RF.
Katrina is a captivating dental educator that pairs her unwavering desire for excellence within the dental profession, with her background as a level I Sommelier. She'll guide you through perfect wine pairings, while teaching a 2 CE participation credit course for the evening: Getting them to A.S.K. for Treatment.
Join us for snacks, wine, and social hour from 6 - 7 PM. The CE Course will run from 7 - 9 PM.

Course Description
We see patients in a perceived state of health. Despite the unending research around the prevalence of oral disease, dental providers are met with a myriad of challenges when it comes to optimized case acceptance for advanced dental treatment.
These challenges are often barriers to upholding fundamental educational principles, connecting patients to their value system and dental IQ, to name a few. The challenge: these challenges are getting in the way of patients receiving the treatment they need, it is affecting the metrics of the dental practice, and most concerning: oral disease prevalence continues to soar.
Using the “Assessment - Strategy – Knowledge” technique, learn how you can achieve high level treatment case acceptance simply by changing the dialogue around dentistry and ultimately: getting them to ask you for their needed treatment!
Join periodontal hygienist, international speaker, consultant, writer, educator and podcaster Katrina M Sanders in this engaging workshop built to support the dental hygienist in optimized treatment plan case acceptance.
Course Objectives:
- Identify the ways in which the ASSESSMENT phase within the dental hygiene process of care is the greatest educational tool for dental patients
- Develop a customized STRATEGY to create unique, patient-centered and value-added conversation to drive patient involvement
- Learn how to thread KNOWLEDGE into all facets of the dental hygiene process of care, providing the patient with a comprehensive awareness of their oral and systemic health
Advanced Dental Hygiene is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by AGD for Fellowship, Mastership, and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by the state or provincial board of dentistry or AGD endorsement. The current term of approval extends from 1/1/2020 to 12/31/2023. Provider ID# 381332.
