About this Event
On Friday, May 17th at 6pm, join us for our first Wine Tasting of the year and a celebration of Primavera! Mark and Emilia are back to guide us through an all Italian rosato (rose') tasting.
From the more coveted and serious sipping appellations of Cerasuolo di Abruzzo, to the under the radar, but absolutely-worth-you-knowing rosati of precious Puglia, we will taste a range of Italian rosati from different regions and grape varieties that will have you wondering where they have been your whole life.
Our selection of wines:
-NV Col di Luna “Flora” Frizzante
-NV Sfera Rosato Litro Cossentino (Sicilia)
-NV Cristian Bellei Lambrusco di Sorbara
-2022 Valle d’Itria Susumanuello Rose’ Puglia IGT
-2023 Assunta dell’Aquila Ciro’ Rosato DOC
-2022 Tiberio Cerasuolo di Abruzzo DOC
As usual, we will be offering Italian dishes focusing on Spring's new bounty.
-Crostini with fresh ricotta, spring peas and charred spring onion
-Cascatelli pasta with Calabrian Chili e tonno al limone
Open to all levels.
